Jammu, Feb 24: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has declared the result of the J&K Civil Services (Judicial) Examination-202 and notified the aggregate marks of 120 candidates who appeared in the viva-voce, while 41 candidates have been shortlisted for medical examination as per the prescribed rules.
The J&K Civil Services (Judicial) Mains Examination-2025 was held from November 16 to November 26, 2025. Following evaluation, 124 candidates were declared eligible for the interview round vide notification dated January 20, 2026.
The viva-voce of 124 candidates was conducted from February 17 to February 24, 2026, at the JKPSC office in Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu.
In its meeting held on February 24, 2026, the Commission resolved to declare the result of 120 candidates who appeared in the interview and to publish a list of 41 candidates who have qualified for medical examination based on their aggregate merit in the written examination and viva-voce.
The result of four candidates has been withheld.
The shortlisted candidates have been directed to report to the respective Medical Boards constituted or to be constituted at Government Medical Colleges in Jammu and Srinagar for medical examination in accordance with the relevant rules.
“The date, venue and constitution of the Medical Boards shall be notified separately. Candidates recommended for medical examination will be required to deposit the prescribed fee prior to the medical check-up,” the notification reads.
The JKPSC notice reads that mere summoning of a candidate for medical examination does not confer any right to selection.
“Detailed mark sheets will be made available on the official website after completion of the entire examination process and forwarding of the select list to the Government for appointment,” it reads.
The recruitment has been conducted under the provisions of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Judicial) Recruitment Rules, 1967, read with relevant SROs and the J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules, 2022, along with the J&K Reservation Rules, 2005.
