Kupwara, Sep 26: A felicitation ceremony was held at Government Degree College (GDC) Kupwara to honour NCC cadets for their achievements and active participation in various activities and events.
The programme was organised by the 7 J&K Battalion NCC Kupwara and was attended by Brigadier Gurbir Singh, VSM, Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarters Srinagar, as the chief guest.
Colonel Ramneek Singh, Commanding Officer, 7 J&K NCC Battalion, and Dr Mohammad Iqbal Darzi, Vice Principal, GDC Kupwara, were also present along with NCC officers, college faculty and cadets.
The cadets were felicitated for their dedication, discipline and participation in NCC programmes. The occasion also highlighted the role of NCC in inculcating leadership, discipline and a sense of responsibility among youth.
Addressing the gathering, Brigadier Gurbir Singh appreciated the cadets for their efforts and encouraged them to remain committed to their responsibilities and continue contributing to society with a spirit of service.
The event concluded with appreciation for the NCC personnel and cadets for their continued efforts towards youth development and nation-building.
