Leh, Sept 28: The UT Administration of Ladakh today ordered transfers, postings and assignment of charges for 12 Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers, and relieved four others who had been recalled to Jammu and Kashmir.
Mohammad Yousf Ganaie, who was awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Kargil, against an available vacancy.
Ghulam Mohd, currently Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Kargil, becomes Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Kargil, replacing Shabir Hussain. He will also keep the charges of ADDC and Chief Executive Officer of the Kargil Development Authority, in addition to his own duties, until further orders.
Shabir Hussain, relieved as ADC Kargil, is posted as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Commissioner/Secretary, Revenue Department.
Zanskar: Jasif Amin Sheikh becomes Tehsildar, with additional charge as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), replacing Sarwar Shahzad.
Sankoo: Sarwar Shahzad, currently SDM Zanskar, is posted as Tehsildar and SDM (additional charge), replacing Waseem Ramzan Dar.
Nyoma: Shivam Sharma takes over as Tehsildar and SDM (additional charge) against an available vacancy.
Durbuk: Zahoor Ahmad Hadi becomes Tehsildar and SDM (additional charge), replacing Mohd Ismail Ganie.
Leh: Saqib Sharief Khan becomes District Panchayat Officer, with additional charge as Assistant Regional Transport Officer, replacing Tufail Iqbal in both roles.
Several officers have been posted as Under Secretaries to the Administration:
Sadam Hussain takes over Hospitality & Protocol from Huma Khan, who retains Civil Aviation and DMRRR.
Ayush Sharma takes charge of Higher Education and of Forest, Ecology & Environment, relieving Padma Angmo and Anupam Bhardwaj respectively.
Mohd Anjum is posted to Tourism & Culture, relieving Faizal Ahmad Tantray of the additional charge.
Aju Kundal takes charge of Rural Development, Social & Tribal Welfare, and Information Technology, relieving Sanjat Bhardwaj.
Following these postings, four officers recalled under the J&K order stand relieved of their duties in Ladakh with immediate effect. They are Mohd Ismail Ganie, Sanjat Bhardwaj, Tufail Iqbal and Waseem Ramzan Dar, all JKAS. They have been directed to report to the General Administration Department of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
