Srinagar, Sep 28: The High Court of J&K and Ladakh Monday ordered the promotion of 20 officials in its Administration cadre.
The promotions have been carried out following recommendations of the Committee for Appointment and Promotion of Officials/Officers, duly approved by the Chief Justice, according to an order issued by Registrar General M K Sharma.
Jatinder Singh, Joint Registrar (Administration), has been promoted as Additional Registrar (Administration) in Pay Level-13, while Naseema Hassan, Deputy Registrar (Administration), has been promoted as Joint Registrar (Administration) in Pay Level-12.
Assistant Registrars-I Sunil Kumar and Rajesh Sood have been promoted as Deputy Registrars, while Syed Gulzar Ahmad and Anuradha Sharma have also been promoted as Deputy Registrars (Administration) in Pay Level-11.
Assistant Registrars-II Ghulam Hassan Dar and Sanjeev Kumar have been promoted as Assistant Registrars-I in Pay Level-8A.
Section Officers Gowhar Nazir and Rajeshwar Singh have been promoted as Assistant Registrars-II in Pay Level-8.
Head Assistants Mohd Zabar Khatana and Choor Singh have been promoted as Section Officers in Pay Level-7, while Zia-ul-Qamar has also been promoted as Section Officer against an available vacancy.
Ten Junior Assistants—Ravinder Singh, Bashir Ahmad Shah, Suheel Ahmad Dar, Eleyass Hussain, Sahil Kumar, Umesh Mehta, Mehtab Alam Mir, Shallu Devi, Arun Kumar-II and Ritik Sharma—have been promoted as Senior Assistants in Pay Level-5. Ritik Sharma’s promotion is effective from November 24, 2026, upon attaining the requisite eligibility.
The order indicates that the promotions have been made against available vacancies or vacancies arising due to successive promotions and voluntary retirement. It further directed that all promoted officers and officials shall continue to work at their present places of posting until further orders.
