Jammu, Oct 10: Former minister and JKPCC working president Raman Bhalla with former MLC and JKPCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma on Saturday visited the seriously injured persons in road accident at Mogla-Kalakote on October 9, presently undergoing treatment in Government Medical College (GMC) hospital in Jammu.
Senior Congress leaders interacted with the injured and their attendants and enquired about their response to the treatment with the concerned doctors. All four injured presently in GMC hospital Jammu were responding to the treatment and out of danger, the doctors, treating them, said.
The Congress leaders asked the hospital administration to ensure best medical treatment to the injured.
State Seva Dal chief Vijay Sharma, Latish Sharma, Amit Mehra and Atul Sharma accompanied the senior leaders to enquire about the condition of the injured. Two persons were killed while several others were seriously injured in a road accident at Mogla- Kalakote in Rajouri district on Friday (October 9, 2026) evening.
The seriously injured were referred to GMC hospital Jammu besides other hospitals on Friday night.
Senior Congress leaders have expressed deep sympathies with the bereaved families of the two killed, whose cremation took place at Mogla on Saturday. They prayed for early recovery of the injured.
They demanded that the administration should immediately release adequate ex-gratia relief to the victim families.
