Srinagar, Oct 5: The Jammu & Kashmir Water Skiing Association, affiliated with the Wakeboard and Wakesurfing Association of India, organised the 19th J&K UT Water Skiing Championship 2026–27 under the aegis of J&K Sports Council at the Water Sports Centre, Nigeen Lake, from 4th to 5th October 2026.
The championship, as per a statement, witnessed enthusiastic participation from talented boys and girls from across Jammu & Kashmir, providing young athletes with a valuable platform to compete, develop their skills and excel in water sports.
The closing ceremony was graced by Ab Majeed, In-charge Water Sports, Nehru Park, as the Chief Guest, Adnan Ah form sports council along with other esteemed guests and dignitaries.
The event concluded with appreciation for the athletes, organisers, coaches and officials for their contribution towards promoting and strengthening water sports in Jammu & Kashmir.
