New Delhi, Mar 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday witnessed the ‘Surya Tilak’ ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya, marking a significant religious moment at the revered temple. The ritual, which symbolically aligns the rays of the sun with the idol of Lord Ram, was observed by the Prime Minister during his visit to the temple town.
Sharing his experience on X, Modi said, “Earlier today, witnessed the Surya Tilak that took place at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, Ayodhya. May the blessings of Prabhu Shri Ram always remain upon us.” The Prime Minister also expressed hope that the blessings of Lord Ram would continue to guide and protect the nation.
The Surya Tilak ceremony is considered an important spiritual event, drawing devotees and attention from across the country, particularly after the consecration of the Ram temple earlier this year.
