Langate, Oct 17: The Qaziabad Volleyball League 2026 commenced at Army Camp Langate on Saturday under Operation Sadbhavana, witnessing enthusiastic participation from teams representing Langate, Rafiabad and Sopore.
The league aims to provide a platform for the youth of North Kashmir to showcase their sporting talent while promoting teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship through healthy competition.
The initiative also reflects the Indian Army’s efforts to encourage youth engagement, nurture emerging sporting talent and strengthen ties with local communities.
Through such sporting activities, the Army seeks to promote unity, harmony and mutual trust while fostering the Awam-Army connect across the region.
