Adv Maroof Khan calls for people-centric governance, accountability in government offices

Srinagar, Oct 16: Advocate Maroof Khan, Political Youth Leader, has urged the Government of Jammu and Kashmir to establish a strong precedent of people-centric governance by ensuring that every citizen visiting a government office is treated with dignity, respect and fairness.

Reacting to a video circulating on social media showing an IAS officer allegedly misbehaving with a woman officer, Khan, as per a statement, said the incident highlights the importance of maintaining professionalism, mutual respect and discipline in public service.
