NPCI BHIM Services Limited (NBSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has introduced MyUPI, a conversational AI-powered assistant on the BHIM Payments App, offering 24/7 multilingual support for UPI-related services.

Launched at Global Fintech Fest 2026, MyUPI allows users to view transaction history, raise and track complaints, manage UPI Autopay mandates, de-link their mobile number and access fraud-awareness assistance through a single interface.

Currently available in English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Bengali, the service is accessible under Quick Actions in the BHIM app. Payment-related actions continue to require authentication through the UPI PIN.

MyUPI also enables users to verify payee names by entering a UPI ID or scanning a QR code, pause, resume or cancel eligible Autopay mandates, and re-initiate eligible previous P2P and P2M transactions with fresh UPI PIN authorisation.

A Safety Switch allows users to block a linked bank account in situations such as a suspected compromise, lost phone or suspicious debit. The assistant also provides information on commonly reported UPI fraud methods and suspected scam messages.

Lalitha Nataraj, MD and CEO, NBSL, said MyUPI would strengthen trust and make digital payments easier, safer and more accessible.
