The consumers of areas served by F#2 of Buchwara Receiving Station have expressed their sincere gratitude to the Power Development Department (PDD) for the concerted efforts that have brought the feeder closer to 24×7 power supply, with only the stipulated minimal curtailment of 30 minutes.
The achievement follows the collective commitment and coordinated efforts of the field engineers and staff of KPDCL, under the guidance of the concerned, and Executive Engineer, Er. Syed Abrar Hussain and Assistant Executive Engineer, Er. Farhan Manzoor Shah.
The dedicated efforts of Junior Engineer Er. Tariq Ahmad Mir and the entire field team in improving revenue realisation and reducing AT&C losses on the feeder have been instrumental in making this progress possible.
The long-pending demand of the Buchwara area was recently highlighted during a public darbar organised by MLA, Khanyar, Haji Ali Mohd Sagar who took up the matter in the interest of the local population. Responding to the public concern, the concerned AEE had committed on-spot to making sincere efforts to resolve the issue within two months, and the achievement stands as a positive outcome of that commitment.
The recommendation for 24×7 power supply, subject to the prescribed curtailment requirements, was pursued through the appropriate departmental channels and received the necessary approval of the higher authorities, including the Superintending Engineer and the Chief Engineer, KPDCL.
