According to his wife, Jamsheed contacted her in the early hours of October 6 and informed her that he had a flight ticket to return home that day.

She said the family waited for two days for his arrival, initially assuming that he might have been delayed during his journey. However, when he failed to return, she contacted her brother-in-law and informed him about the situation.

Following this, Jamsheed’s brother contacted the company where he was employed. The company reportedly informed him that Jamsheed had been absent from work for the previous two days.

Meanwhile, his brother has lodged a complaint with Budgam Police regarding his disappearance. He has also emailed a complaint to the Indian Embassy, seeking assistance in tracing Jamsheed and establishing his whereabouts.
