Ganderbal, Sep 6: Residents of Tulmulla in Ganderbal have alleged a severe shortage of essential medicines, syringes and other medical supplies at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Tulmulla, saying that patients are being denied even basic emergency care.
Locals said the shortage has disrupted treatment for emergency and routine patients, while healthcare workers are struggling to provide timely care due to the lack of government-supplied medicines and consumables.
The Civil Society Tulmulla has urged the Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal and the Director of Health Services, Kashmir, to immediately replenish essential medicines and medical supplies.
“Patients should not suffer because of delays in the supply chain,” the civil society said, calling for urgent intervention to restore emergency healthcare services at the PHC.
