On the occasion of World Pharmacists Day, Chairman of the G R Beigh Memorial Foundation, Ishtiaq Beigh, extended his warm greetings and appreciation to pharmacists across Jammu & Kashmir and the country.
In his message, Beigh, as per a statement, said that pharmacists constitute an essential pillar of the healthcare system, playing a significant role in the safe and effective use of medicines, patient awareness and strengthening public health.
He acknowledged the dedication of pharmacists who work alongside doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals, particularly in serving communities at the grassroots level.
“Pharmacists are not merely dispensers of medicines; they are important healthcare professionals whose knowledge, responsibility and patient-oriented service contribute significantly to a healthier society,” he said.
