Reliance Jio has announced that its current industry-leading tariff plans, including the Rs 299 plan, will continue to remain available to all users, while introducing a new Jio Prime membership that offers customers additional price certainty for eligible plans.

Under the new programme, customers opting for Jio Prime can continue recharging with their preferred eligible plans at current prices until September 5, 2027, irrespective of any tariff revisions during the price-guarantee period.

The membership, priced at a one-time fee of Rs 300, is available to existing Jio prepaid and postpaid customers. Users of other telecom networks can also enrol by porting their numbers to Jio or taking a new Jio connection.

Jio Prime members will also receive cashback vouchers worth Rs 600. This includes a Rs 300 voucher redeemable against a new JioHome or JioPC connection and another Rs 300 voucher for adding a new Jio SIM connection for a friend or family member.

The programme will additionally provide members with early access to new Jio products, services and trials, along with priority customer support through a dedicated service channel. Jio said further member-exclusive benefits may also be announced during the membership period.

The membership can be purchased through the MyJio app, Jio.com, Jio Stores and authorised Jio partner stores.

Originally launched as a programme of appreciation for Jio’s first 100 million customers, Jio Prime has now been reintroduced for the company’s wider customer base of more than 500 million users.

Jio said the revamped programme is aimed at providing customers greater certainty over their future mobile recharge costs while giving them access to additional services and privileges.
