The Jammu & Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian continues to organise Majalis-e-Aza and mourning processions across the length and breadth of the Valley to commemorate the sacred month of Safar-ul-Muzaffar.
As part of these commemorative programmes, spiritually enriching Majalis-e-Hussaini were held on the 7th of Safar-ul-Muzaffar at Durbal Bemina and Tengpora Odina, Sonawari, under the leadership of the President of the Anjuman, Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safvi, said a press release.
The gatherings commenced with elegiac recitations by the Anjuman’s Zakireen, who narrated the sufferings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), creating an atmosphere of profound grief and devotion. A large number of mourners attended the Majlis at Durbal Bemina. Addressing the congregation Hujjat-ul-Islam Aga Syed Mujtaba Abbas Mosavi Al-Safvi stated that Islam accords paramount importance not only to the protection of human life but also to the preservation of human dignity, honour, and personal integrity.
He emphasised that humiliating others, character assassination, slander, and false accusations that tarnish a person’s reputation constitute grave sins in Islam.
In his address, he further observed that the Holy Qur’an and the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) inspire believers to excel in righteousness, benevolence, service to humanity, forgiveness, and all virtuous deeds. He urged the people, particularly the youth, to mould their lives in accordance with the teachings of the Qur’an and the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), to uphold the dignity and respect of others, and to refrain from every act that promotes hatred, division, or moral decline within society.
