Srinagar, Sep 26: Young chess player NaishaHandoo clinched the gold medal in the Under-10 category at the 6th Kashmir International Open FIDE Rapid Rating Chess Tournament 2026, concluded at the Indoor Sports Complex, Polo Ground, Srinagar.
As per a statement issued, competing in an open FIDE-rated tournament featuring players across different age groups and experience levels, Naisha finished the nine-round competition with four points, securing the top position in her Under-10 category.
