Srinagar, Oct 15: The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) has reappointed A P Vicky Shaw as Chairman of its Kashmir Chapter for a fifth consecutive term, reaffirming its confidence in his leadership and contribution to the region’s industrial and economic development.

The announcement was made by newly elected PHDCCI President Anil Gupta, Chairman of KEI Industries, following the chamber’s 121st Annual Session in New Delhi.

The annual session also marked the appointment of the chamber’s new national leadership, with Sanjay Singhania, Managing Director of EPack Group, taking over as Senior Vice President and Anshuman Singhania, Managing Director of JK Tyre & Industries, as Vice President.

The reappointment of Shaw was unanimously endorsed by the new leadership, recognising his efforts to promote industrial growth, attract investment and advocate policy reforms aimed at addressing the concerns of Kashmir’s business community.

Expressing gratitude for the renewed confidence, Shaw said he was honoured by the trust placed in him by the chamber’s national leadership.

“I am deeply honoured and humbled by the continuous trust and confidence reposed in me by our new leadership—President Anil Gupta, Senior Vice President Sanjay Singhania and Vice President Anshuman Singhania. This reappointment for a fifth consecutive term is not just a personal milestone but a recognition of the collective hard work of the entire Kashmir Chapter team,” he said.

Shaw thanked the leadership for entrusting him with the responsibility and reiterated his commitment to working towards Kashmir’s economic prosperity and industrial development.

PHDCCI, which has completed 121 annual sessions, continues to engage with industry stakeholders on matters concerning investment, business development and economic growth. The chamber’s secretariat is headed by Dr Ranjeet Mehta.
