Srinagar, Oct 11: Defending champions Jammu and Kashmir began their Ranji Trophy 2026-27 campaign against Madhya Pradesh in Srinagar at SK Stadium on Sunday, with skipper Paras Dogra winning the toss and opting to field first.
J&K will look to begin their title defence on a positive note, with the return of pace spearhead Auqib Nabi boosting the team’s bowling attack. Captain Paras Dogra said the pacer’s presence has lifted the team’s morale ahead of the season opener.
