SMVDU chess team finishes runner-up at inter-university competition

Jammu, Oct 8: Continuing its impressive sporting achievements, the Chess Team of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) secured an outstanding second position at the Inter-University Chess Competition held at Jaypee University, Solan, Himachal Pradesh.

The SMVDU chess contingent, as per a statement, displayed commendable skill, strategic thinking and competitive spirit throughout the tournament, finishing as runners-up among the participating universities.
