Handwara, Oct 11: Two persons died on the spot after a car collided with a bike in the Nelipora Magam area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday evening.

A police official said that an Alto vehicle bearing registration No. JK05A-9562 collided head-on with a motorcycle bearing registration No. JK09E-8313 at Nelipora Magam, resulting in the on-spot death of two persons, reportedly the bike riders and four others injured.

The deceased have been identified as Tahir Ahmad and Mohammad Aamir, both residents of Salkoot, Kupwara.

The injured have been shifted to GMC Handwara for treatment.
