Located near 14th Avenue, Hyderpora, the office will cater to farmers, orchard developers and horticulture entrepreneurs seeking access to high-density apple orchard technology, planting material, farm machinery and orchard-management services.

The inauguration was attended by Managing Director Muzamil Jabar and special guest Mohd Jabar Dar, besides farmers, business associates and other guests.

AI-enabled spraying technology unveiled a key highlight of the launch was the introduction of an AI-enabled spraying system for orchards. According to the company, the technology is designed to improve the precision and efficiency of spraying operations, reduce dependence on manual labour, minimise wastage and lower operational costs for growers.

The company said the technology is aimed at addressing some of the challenges confronting Kashmir’s fruit industry, including rising labour costs and the increasing need for precision and efficiency in modern orchard management.

The new Hyderpora office is intended to provide growers with a single point of access to orchard planning, nutrition and crop-protection guidance, technical support and mechanisation services.

Valley Vita Agro primarily focuses on high-density apple orchard development and supplies planting material, imported apple rootstocks and orchard systems to growers transitioning from traditional cultivation practices.

Speaking at the event, Managing Director Muzamil Jabar said technology and high-density plantation systems would play an important role in the future of Kashmir’s horticulture.

“The future of Kashmir’s horticulture is not only high-density — it is intelligent, precise and technology-driven,” he said.

Jabar said the new office would help bring artificial intelligence, mechanisation and technical expertise closer to growers across the Valley.
