Samba, Oct 08: A 22-year-old man died after being hit by an unidentified vehicle in Bari Brahmana area of Samba district on Thursday morning, officials said.
An official said that the incident took place in the morning near Police Station Bari Brahmana, where, as per the initial report, an unidentified vehicle struck the man, leaving him in a pool of blood.
He said that following the incident, police reached the spot and took the body into custody. The deceased was later identified as Lulain Surain (22), a resident of Jharkhand.
Meanwhile, police have initiated necessary proceedings and launched an investigation.—(KNO)
