New Delhi, Oct 26: Amway India plans to expand and renovate its stores across key markets over the next three to four years to strengthen consumer engagement and provide distributors with better opportunities to grow their businesses.

Amway Global President and CEO Michael Nelson inaugurated the company’s new store in Gurugram during his visit to the city. The expansion builds on the Rs 100 crore investment announced by Nelson last year for initiatives including strengthening the company’s physical presence in India.

The company said its stores would function as experience centres, enabling consumers to explore its products and health and wellbeing solutions while providing distributors with platforms for customer interaction and community building.

Nelson said India remained central to Amway’s global growth strategy, citing rising demand for trusted, science-backed health and wellbeing solutions and personalised consumer experiences.

Rajneesh Chopra, Managing Director of Amway India, said the stores were designed as engagement hubs rather than conventional retail outlets, focusing on product awareness, direct interaction and consumer education.

According to the company, Amway India operates more than 85 stores nationwide and has opened or revamped over 14 outlets in recent months across markets including Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Agra and Imphal, as well as smaller cities.

The planned expansion will extend its presence across metropolitan, tier-two and tier-three markets.
