New Delhi, Oct 09: The Delhi Government has ordered the transfer and posting of 33 IAS officers belonging to the AGMUT and DANICS cadres, including five officers from the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre.
Among the key appointments, senior IAS officer Navin Kumar Choudhary has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary (General Administration Department), while Bipul Pathak and Prashant Goyal have been assigned revised responsibilities in the Delhi administration.
According to the government order, Bipul Pathak, a 1992-batch AGMUT cadre officer, will continue as Additional Chief Secretary (Social Welfare). He will also hold additional charges as Managing Director of the Delhi SC/ST/OBC Finance and Development Corporation and the Delhi Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Minorities and Handicapped Financial and Development Corporation.
Pathak will additionally hold the posts of Additional Chief Secretary (SC/ST/OBC), Additional Chief Secretary (Women and Child Development) and Financial Commissioner.
Prashant Goyal, a 1993-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, has been appointed Additional Chief Secretary (Power). He will also hold additional charges as Chairman and Managing Director of the Delhi Financial Corporation and the Delhi State Civil Supplies Corporation, besides serving as Additional Chief Secretary (Administrative Reforms) and Additional Chief Secretary (Health and Family Welfare).
Navin Kumar Choudhary, a 1994-batch AGMUT cadre officer, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary (General Administration Department). He was previously serving as Additional Chief Secretary (Irrigation and Flood Control), while also holding charge of the GAD.
Choudhary will retain additional charge of the Irrigation and Flood Control Department and take on the additional responsibility of Additional Chief Secretary (Food and Civil Supplies).
The order also assigns fresh responsibilities to officers who were awaiting postings.
Prasanna Ramaswamy G, a 2010-batch AGMUT cadre officer, has been posted as Additional Commissioner in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
Swati Sheemar, a 2023-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, has been appointed Additional Director (Education), replacing Patil Pranjal Lahensingh, who has been transferred to the Women and Child Development Department.
The order covers 33 IAS officers from the AGMUT and DANICS cadres. Details of all transfers and postings were not available in the information provided.
