Srinagar, Jul 19: Abdul Sattar Bhat, father of Tahir Sajad Bhat, Additional Director of the State Investigation Agency (SIA), passed away on Sunday after a brief illness. He was 82.
A resident of Rajouri, Abdul Sattar Bhat breathed his last at his residence on Saturday night, family sources said.
Condolences have poured in from colleagues, friends, and well-wishers, who expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
The funeral prayers will be offered this afternoon.
