Anantnag, Oct 12: A woman was killed and her husband critically injured after a car hit their motorcycle at Furrah, Mir Bazar, in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday.

Officials said the i20 car (JK03M-4148) collided with the motorcycle (PB10FV-5999), killing Fareeda Akhtar on the spot and critically injuring her husband, Mohd Altaf Bhat, a resident of Baihama, Qazigund.
Bhat was shifted to hospital for treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
