Bandipora, Apr 30: The Department of Youth Services and Sports (YS&S Bandipora) on Thursday organised a Yoga event at Wullar Vantage Park under the Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan 2026 with enthusiastic participation of students and officials.
The programme, as per an official statement, aimed to spread awareness about the importance of a healthy and drug-free lifestyle through yoga and physical fitness activities. Participants performed various yoga exercises and meditation sessions under the guidance of trained instructors.
On the occasion, speakers highlighted the role of yoga in promoting mental well-being, discipline, and positive lifestyle choices among youth. They also stressed the importance of collective efforts in combating drug abuse and encouraging healthy habits among students.
The event witnessed active participation from students of various educational institutions, officials of the Youth Services and Sports Department, and other officials.
