The Jammu & Kashmir Electrical Engineering Graduates Association (JKEEGA) has constituted its Executive Council for the 2026–28 term following the recently concluded elections in which Er. Pirzada Hidayatullah was elected as General Secretary.
According to a notification issued by the Association, the newly constituted Executive Council includes Er. Fayaz Ahmad Wani as Senior Vice President, Er. Mohammad Ishaq Bhat and Er. Hur-e-Yasrab as Vice Presidents, Er. Mohammad Irshad Wani as Publicity and Finance Secretary, and Er. Tufail Ahmad Khan as Joint Secretary.
Other office-bearers include Er. Farhan Manzoor Shah as Provincial Secretary, Er. Zahoor Ahmad Bakshi as Organizing Secretary, Er. Bhopinder Singh Raina as Secretary Legal Affairs, Er. Irshad Ahmad Khan as Secretary Grievance Redressal, Er. Sheikh Asif Iqbal as Secretary HRM, Er. Deeraj Bhat as Secretary IT, Er. Aamir Amin Masoodi as Cashier-cum-Treasurer.
Er. Khurram Nazir as Secretary Women Affairs, Er. Yaver Fayaz Bhat as Secretary Coordination and Er. Mubashir Ul Zaman as Secretary Membership Drive.
General Secretary Er. Pirzada Hidayatullah expressed confidence in the newly elected team and said the Council would work collectively to safeguard the interests of engineers, strengthen the Association, address service-related issues and promote professional growth within the engineering fraternity.
The Executive Council reaffirmed its commitment to organizational unity, member welfare, capacity building, effective grievance redressal, membership expansion and constructive engagement with stakeholders in the power sector.
The Association said the notification constituting the Executive Council has been circulated among senior government and power sector functionaries for information and coordination.
