Srinagar, Jul 8: A delegation of the Core Group of Industrial Estate (IE) Pampore on Wednesday met Jammu and Kashmir Ministers Javed Ahmad Rana and Javid Ahmad Dar, besides Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, to press for early resolution of the long-pending land possession issue concerning the industrial estate.
The delegation was led by Core Group President Khalid Subhan Wani and included Vice President Khan Yasir, General Secretary Nasir Ahmad and Advisor Sheikh Abid.
During the meetings, the delegation briefed the ministers and the Chief Secretary on the current status of the land possession file and highlighted the progress made so far. They urged the government to place the proposal before the Cabinet at the earliest for a final decision.
The delegation emphasised that early resolution of the issue was crucial for the expansion of Industrial Estate Pampore and for restoring confidence among industrial stakeholders and investors.
The ministers gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured them of their full support when the proposal comes up before the Cabinet.
Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo also acknowledged the concerns raised by the delegation and assured them that the administration would continue to give due attention to the matter in accordance with the established procedure.
The Core Group expressed gratitude to the ministers and the Chief Secretary for their positive response and constructive engagement. It voiced confidence that the matter would now move forward expeditiously, paving the way for long-awaited relief and certainty for industrial stakeholders at Industrial Estate Pampore.
