Srinagar, Oct 6: The Srinagar Premier League resumed Tuesday at the TRC Turf, Srinagar, under the aegis of the District Football Association (DFA), Srinagar.In the opening fixture following the resumption, Kanwal FC, as per the DFA statement, defeated IFC Kashmir 1–0 in a closely contested encounter. Kanwal FC went into half-time with a 1–0 advantage and held on to the lead until the final whistle.

IFC Kashmir pushed for an equaliser in the second half, but Kanwal FC maintained their defensive discipline to secure a narrow victory and collect three points. The resumption of the Srinagar Premier League marks the return of competitive football action at the TRC Turf, with local clubs set to battle it out in the upcoming fixtures.
