Srinagar, Sep 29: J&K Legislative Assembly Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather told MLA Mubarak Gul that “Kashmiri will not be recorded here” as the MLA raised an issue in the Kashmiri language during Question Hour that Kashmiri was not taught in schools.
“Whatever you will speak in Kashmiri here will not be recorded,” the Speaker of the J&K Assembly told Mubarak Gul as he stood up during Zero Hour and raised the issue that Kashmiri was not taught in schools, including KVs and other top-notch schools.
He also said the problem was prevalent in the Pir Panjal area.
He raised the issue in the Kashmiri language, to which the Speaker said the House had no arrangement to translate it.
“I have earlier informed you about this issue,” the Speaker said.
